Day 1BANGALORE – MYSURU (189 Kms/ 4 hrs approx)

On your arrival at the Bangalore airport, meet our tour representative who will assist you to drive to Mysore. Located at the foothills of Chamundi hills, Mysore is the second largest city in Karnataka. Complete the check-in formalities and rest for some time. Later, you are free to enjoy a stroll around the heritage city.

After breakfast, explore the beautiful royal city of Mysuru. Visit the famous Mysore Palace, Jagan Mohan Palace, Crawford Hall, Maharaja’s Palace, Chamundi Hill, Brindavan Gardens. Later take a stroll around the famous handicrafts market.

Day 3MYSORE – BELUR(BY ROAD – 160 KMS/ 3 Hrs approx) – HALEBIDU (BY ROAD 15 KMS / 1 Hr approx from BELUR) – HASSAN (BY ROAD – 30 Kms / 2 Hrs approx from HALEBIDU)

Drive for Belur and Hassan, famous for their Hoysala era temple architecture. Visit the Chennakesava Temple (dedicated to lord Vishnu) in Belur. Explore the most notable ornate in Halebidu namely the Hoysaleswara and Kedareswara temples, built here during the 12th century. Later, drive for Hassan, called after the Goddess “Haasanamba”, the goddess and presiding deity of the town.

Day 4HASSAN- SHRAVANABELAGOLA (BY ROAD – 57 KMS/ 1 Hrs approx) –BANGALORE (BY ROAD 158 km/ 3 hrs approx)

Next morning, drive towards Shravanabelagola, a major pilgrimage spot of Jainism. The statue of Gommateshvara Bahubali is one of the most important tirthas (pilgrimage destinations) in Jainism. It is considered to be an architectural marvel. Later proceed to Bangalore and check into the hotel. Proceed for a sightseeing trip and visit the Vidhan Soudha(the seat of Karnataka’s Legislative assembly) and the Nandi Temple or the Bull temple. The temple counts amongst the oldest temples of the city. A huge idol of Nandi Bull(Lord Shiva’s devotee) is said to have been carved out of a single rock. Later visit the Bangalore palace which bears striking resemblance to England’s Windsor Castle.

Catch a flight for Goa. On arrival, check into the hotel. Later proceed for a sightseeing tour around Goa. Visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus a UNESCO World Heritage Site that holds the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier. Later visit the Chapel of St. Catherine the first ever Christian ecclesiastical structure to be built in Goa. Eat scrumptious seafood and the local Goan delicacies.

Enjoy your breakfast and later visit the Aguada Fort and its lighthouse, a well-preserved seventeenth-century Portuguese fort. Church of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception is the colonial Portuguese Baroque style church that was built in 1541. Visit the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary. Mangrove swamps cover this bird-watchers’ paradise aptly named after India’s best-known ornithologist. Witness the breath taking sunset as you return to the hotel.

Proceed to “Ancestral Goa”, and sneak a peek into the Goan rural lifestyle. The village has number of artefact centers, art galleries and open air museums. Visit the laterite sculpture of Saint Mirabai in the village, which is one of the longest laterite sculptures in India. Later visit the Colva Beach, Mangeshi Temple, Santa Durga Temple etc. Enjoy a trip to the ancient “Largo de Igreja”, Church square of Margao, which once used to be its colonial quarter. Built in the year 1564 the church square can be spotted with beautiful old buildings on one side and the beautiful Church of the Holy Spirit on the other and is one of the finest examples of Indian Baroque style of architecture.
