Day 1ARRIVE MUMBAI

On your arrival at the Mmubai Airport, meet our tour representative who will assist you to transfer to the hotel. Complete the check-in formalities and rest for some time. Rest of the day is at leisure and you are free to enjoy a stroll around the city that never sleeps.

Day 2IN MUMBAI

Mumbai a cosmopolitan metropolis, earlier known as Bombay, is the largest city in India and the capital of Maharashtra state. The city of dreams was originally a conglomeration of seven islands on the Konkan coastline which over time were joined to form the island city of Bombay. Overlooking the Arabian Sea, Mumbai has clung on to its heritage and history. Post breakfast take a sightseeing tour of Mumbai that covers the Elephanta caves that are a network of sculpted caves located on Elephanta Island, in Mumbai Harbour. It consists of two groups of caves—the first is a large group of five Hindu caves, the second is a smaller group of two Buddhist caves. Later visit the Prince of Wales Museum formerly known as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahala commemorates the visit of the then Prince of Wales. The Indo-Saracenic style of architecture of the museum houses approximately 50,000 exhibits of ancient Indian history as well as objects from foreign lands, categorized primarily into three sections: Art, Archaeology and Natural History. Visit the Juhu Beach, Gateway of India and queen’s necklace the Marine Drive.

Day 3MUMBAI – GOA (BY AIR)

Catch the flight for Goa. On your arrival in Goa, meet our tour representative and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Goa promises a fun-filled vacation to everyone. Day 4NORTH GOA

Enjoy your breakfast and drive for North Goa, which is dotted with some of the most beautiful beaches of the state. Visit the Dona Paula, Calangute, Baga and Miramar Beach. North Goa is home to popular tourist attractions such as Fort Aguada, Basilica of Bom Jesus and Se Cathedral. Spend your day visiting places like “Cidade de Goa”, the original name given to the ‘city of Goa’ which was established long back; that is now called as “Old Goa”. Pay homage at the Basilica Bom Jesus, dedicated to Infant Lord Jesus. The church has the sacred remains of St Francis Xavier. Later, visit other churches in North Goa including St Cajetan, St Francis of Assisi, Se Cathedral and Church of St. Monica. These churches feature a unique architectural style that showcase a lot regarding the heritage and culture of Goa.

Later visit the Museum of Christian Art that is known for a collection of antiques like gold and precious stones. Later, take a trip to “Solar Souto Maior”, an aristocratic mansion that dates back to the year 1585. The mansion houses a treasure of artefacts. Later drive through Panjim city enjoying the unique colonial architectures built by the Portuguese. Enjoy scrumptious sea food lunch at Panjim.

Post lunch, head to Baga Beach, one the most popular, stunning beaches of Goa. Enjoy various water sports and later take time to shop for beautiful souvenirs at the Tibetan market.

Day 5SOUTH GOA

On day third post breakfast, you head towards South Goa. Visit the Colva Beach, Mangeshi Temple, Santa Durga Temple etc. Enjoy a trip to the ancient “Largo de Igreja”, Church square of Margao, which once used to be its colonial quarter. Built in the year 1564 the church square can be spotted with beautiful old buildings on one side and the beautiful Church of the Holy Spirit on the other and is one of the finest examples of Indian Baroque style of architecture.

Later proceed to “Ancestral Goa”, and sneep a peek into the Goan rural lifestyle. The village has number of artifact centers, art galleries and open air museums. Visit the a laterite sculpture of Saint Mirabai in the village, which is one of the longest laterite sculptures in India. Later visit the grand Menezes Braganza house, in Chandor. The palatial structure was built in the 17th century. The east wing is occupied by the Pereira-Braganza family, which has a small chapel with relics of St. Francis Xavier, also housing artifacts, collected by the family over a number of years. Tiles from Portugal, antique chandeliers from Europe and beautifully carved, ornate rosewood furniture adds to the beauty to the house. The west wing of the house belongs to the Menezes Braganza family that not only features exquisite furniture and Chinese porcelain from Macau, but also a collection of family portraits, which date back to the 17th and 18th centuries. There is also a library which is believed to be the first private library of Goa. The library has a collection of 5,000 leather bound books which were personally collected by Luis de Menezes Braganza (1878-1938), a reputed journalist, well-known for playing a key role in Goa’s independence movement.
