This one week tour will take you the most important places of history that Rajasthan has witnessed in its progress. Day 1Delhi - Jaipur ( by road )

On the first day, you will arrive at Delhi airport from where our tour representative will drive you straight drive to Jaipur. On arrival at Jaipur, our representative will escort you to the pre-booked hotel of your own choice. Then after getting freshen-up, you will leave for enjoying excursion to Amber Fort. An elephant ride will take you to the Amber Fort Palace, which is a classic romantic Rajasthani fort palace. Started by Man Singh I in 1592, the palace was finally completed by his descendent Jai Singh I. The palace is an excellent example of beautiful fusion of Mughal and Hindu style architecture.

Next, you will be visiting City Palace which is also a magnificent blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture. Spread across one-seventh of the area in the walled city, the palace accomodates Chandra Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple and the amazing City Palace Museum.

The tour also includes visit to Jantar Mantar, which is the largest observatory consisting of outsized astronomical instruments that are still in use. Built by Jai Singh II, it is the best preserved of the five observatories situated in different parts of the country. Later, visit Hawa Mahal-Palace of Winds is one of the well-established landmark in Jaipur. It is a five five-storey structure built in sandstone and plastered in pink has fine trelliswork and elaborate balconies with 953 niches and windows. Pratap Singh built this palace in 1799 to honor the royal women.

After completing the excursion, you will be back to hotel, where night will be spent in leisure activities.

Day 2Jaipur - Mandawa ( by road )

On the second day after having breakfast, you will be driven to Mandawa and en-route you will get to visit Samode. Well-known for its Shekhawati style paintings, Samode is also displays Dewan-I -Khas paintings, which are also spectacular. You will get to see the piece-de-resistance, a magnificent 300 years old Durbar Hall or also known as Sheesh Mahal created with beautiful lattice work. The picturesque setting of this palace is not less than a fairy land.

Another brilliant place to see is the fort, which is situated on the top of the palace for which you will have to climb 300 steps. The tour will also include a visit to the beautifully landscaped garden of Samode Bagh- exquisite Mughal garden.

After exploring Samode, you will continue the journey to Mandawa and on arrival our representative will help you to check-in in the hotel. Rest of the day and night will be spent in hotel.

Day 3Mandawa - Bikaner ( by road )

On the third day morning after having light breakfast, you will be exploring Mandawa, founded in 1755 by Thakur Nawal Singh. The royal place is still home of his descendants, where eye-catching frescoes, havelis and mansions are the major tourist attraction.

Renowned for one of the premium citadel of Rajasthan, the palace of Mandawa is now transformed into a hotel. Inside the palace is a museum, where you will get to see properly preserved collection of armories, costumes of ancestors, canons from 1820 ancient coins, numismatic collection and various other interesting and historical pieces.

After completing the sightseeing tour, you will leave for Bikaner by road and on arrival, rest of the time and night will be spent at hotel in various leisurely activities.

Day 4Bikaner - Jaisalmer ( by road )

The fourth day of the tour will start with a sightseeing tour of the Bikaner city, named after its founder Rao Bika Ji in 1488. Before it was founded, the city was already a popular trade centre on the caravan routes from Africa and West Asia. The city is enclosed by 7 kms wall and can be entered only through the five gates. Featuring 16th century fort housing old palaces, temples and mosque, the city perfect amalgamation of vibrant culture and natural beauty. The fort of Bikaner is known for its marvelous edifice with long range of 37 pavilions, a line of balconies and aerial windows intricately carved in various traditional designs.

You will also be visiting the Lallgarg Palace, Museum, Bhanda Sagar Jain and Deshnoke rat temple that will complete the sightseeing tour of the city. Afterwards, you will drive to Jaisalmer and on reaching check-in at the pre-booked hotel. In the evening you will be enjoying a camel ride in the rippling sand-dunes.

Overnight stay at the hotel will be reserved for leisure and various other independent activities.

Day 5Jaisalmer - Jodhpur ( by road )

On the fifth day after having breakfast, you will check-out from the hotel to go out for an excursion of the city. You will be visiting the shimmering sandstone Jaisalmer, situated in the heart of Thar. The city of gilded magic, the history of Jaisalmer goes back to 12 century. Jaisalmer was founded after emperor Rawal Jaisal left his old fort at ludarwa to lay the foundation stone of the new city. The places you will get to visit here are the magnificent fort, the Patwon-Ki-Haveli (Mansion) and Salim Singh-Ki-Haveli having carved balconies and brackets. These havelies are the supreme examples of prevailing love for the art during that period.

After the sightseeing tour is done, you will leave for Jodhpur through a road journey. On arrival, check-in at the hotel where rest of the day and night will be reserved for leisurely activities.

Day 6Jodhpur - Delhi ( by flight ) & Departure

The sixth day will be the last day of the tour. After having breakfast at the hotel, you will be enjoying sightseeing tour of Jodhpur. In 1459 prince Jodha laid the foundation of Jodhpur city, who was the most vice and strongest of the fierce Rathore clan.

You will be visiting the Mehrangarh Fort, situated on a low sandstone hill and inside the fort you will get to see Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal. The tour also includes visit to Jaswant Thada, an impressive marble monument. It was built in 1899 in fond memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. Also, a quick visit to Umaid Public gardens will be delightful to watch.

In the afternoon, our tour representative will escort you to the airport to board the flight for Delhi from where you will board another flight for onward journey. The tour ends here.
