LESS POPULAR CHARMS OF CENTRAL INDIA

Not only for first time visitor, this tour takes you to the heart of central India: The undeveloped heart sheltered with bulky forests scatters with prehistoric palaces and forts. The tour consists of the primeval caverns in Bhimbhetka. Over 600 rock caverns and shelters enclosed with images describing the life of huntsmen and assemblers of higher Paleolithic times. You also visit to sanchi, the biggest Buddhist site in India that includes the idols that initially controlled ruins of the Buddhas followers. On looking downward on the thickly forested landscape the shell of the 23 sq km fort of Mandu. Now known as the home of Panther and leopard, it was first known as the ‘city of joy’ and scented with gardens, palaces, pavilions, and pools.

Itenerary
Day 1 (Delhi)
Arrival - Reception at Delhi airport following transfers to hotel.
Day 2 (Delhi)
A relaxed morning, before setting out to travel around New Delhi in the afternoon.
Day 3 (Delhi)
Travel around the Old Delhi, Shahjahanabad, the Mughals made their capital after leaving Agra, which is still a crucial, throbbing city of unique character.
Day 4 (Agra - Delhi)
A morning express train takes you to Agra. Check in to your hotel and revitalize yourself, before leaving to see the Taj, Agra Fort and other monuments in Agra. Return to see the Taj at sunset.
Day 5 (Agra - Gwalior)
An early move will get you to Gwalior in time to spend the afternoon sightseeing.
Day 6 (Bhopal - Gwalior)
A suitable morning train to Bhopal leaving the afternoon free for exploring the place.
Day 7 (Bhopal)
From Bhopal it is a day’s outing to the paleolithic Bhimbhetka caves and the temple at Bhojpur.
Day 8 (Maheshwar - Bhopal)
Another day’s expedition to Sanchi, after that takes a flight to Indore and drive on to Maheshwar.
Day 9 (Maheshwar)
From Maheshwar, it’s a full day outing to Mandu.
Day 10 (Mumbai - Maheshwar)
In the evening, a flight takes you to Mumbai.
Day 11 (Mumbai)
Departure - The morning is free to see chosen places of interest in the city – the Gateway of India, for instance, or the Prince of Whales Museum. Move to the airport to catch your flight on time.
