Patna
Patna is the capital of Bihar and lies on the banks of River Ganga. The term Patna is said to be derived from the Hindu goddess name, Patan devi. There are many theories to the origin of the name. Pataliputra, Pushpapura, Pataligram and Kusumpur are few of the names that this place was originally termed.
