Board industries and Salim Kagzi’s handmade paper are the largest among them. The beginning of the handmade paper industry dates back to 1728 when Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II took the proposal.
Shri Digambar Jain Temple is one of the other main attractions of Sanganer, which allure the visitors with the fine carvings. The temple is built in an old architectural style and is often compared to Dilwara Temples of Mount Abu. The temple encompasses grand spires and a stone shrine in the inner chamber, which houses the idol of Parshwanath along with 7 serpent hoods. Sanganer can be visited by road, rails and air, the nearest airport being at Jaipur.
